I Don't Like a Rainy Day

I extremely don’t like rainy day for it is very inconvenient in many things. At the beginning, I don’t like to go out in a rainy day because I may have to bring an umbrella or wear a raincoat. Sometimes, if it rains heavily, I may even get wet even though I have prepared everything . Furthermore, it is always humid and cool in a rainy. Therefore, it often makes me feel doleful, be in a bad mood and then doing nothing. The most important thing is that a rainy day may ruins my schedules. For example, I may have a trip to somewhere outside, but it is canceled due to a rainy day. Anyway, I really dislike a rainy day and I hope that every day will be a sunny day.

A Strange Experience Draft 2

It was in a summer vacation, when I was 10 years old. I was in my hometown where were many trees and a clean river. One day, it was hot outside and I went to the river with my sister who is 3 years senior to me. After playing water for a long time, we took a rest under a big tree. Suddenly, a little boy who had bright golden hair appeared alone without saying anything. He seemed to be shy and hid himself behind a tree. We walked to him and tried to talk to him, but he just nodded and shook his head and say nothing. We felt much strange but still tried to communicate with him. Is he a mute? However, we still played game with him, and had a good time in the river all afternoon. He was a boy with a shining smile but never talked to us all day. After that, I went home and told to my father about the strange boy. To my surprise, my father told me that he was a foreigner and was in poor health. His parents took him here to take a rest. How could I play with a foreigner all day without saying a word? I thought it was because that the boy had a sweet smile and the smile is the best word in the world.

A Misunderstanding ( Draft 2 )

I have taken the bus to school since I entered the senior high school. It was interesting in the beginning and I enjoyed yielding the seat to those who need it. However, that day, everything had been changed. One day, as usual, I got up early and took the bus to school. It was crowded on the bus and I got a seat luckily. After that, at a bus stop, an expectant woman got on but there was nobody giving up his seat to her. Therefore, I stood up and told her loudly to take my seat. Suddenly, everyone looked at me weirdly. At the moment, I finally understood that she was not a pregnant woman but only a heavy one. I was so embarrassed that I got off the bus immediately. From then on, I only yield the seat to those who I am sure that REALLY need it.

Making Decisions

Growing up means making my own decisions. Making my own decisions means that I am old enough to do it but also implies that I have to be responsible for the decisions I make. It is hard to make a successful decision. In the past, I make some easy decisions such as what I eat and what I wear. Now I should learn to have the ability to make great ones.

The hardest decision that I ever made was entering the NTCVS which is a famous vocational school. My parents expected me to study in a senior high school and they thought that senior high school is better than vocational school. I told them that I did a good job in English in the BCT and I am also interested about English so I wanted to study in the department of applied foreign language. We had some argument for several days and we also had an agreement in the end. My parents decided to value my decision and they encouraged me to do what I like. I am so proud to have such great parents and I will do my best to be somebody someday.
